A network that ran on spreadsheets, manual work and information scattered across several systems broke down its P&L completely, cut closings from days to minutes and turned a single need into 15 projects, all in 3 months with Mitra.
What we hadn't done in 16 years of Grupo Bali, we did in three months with Mitra deployed here.
For sixteen years, Grupo Bali grew the way most dealership groups grow: on the effort of its people. Lots of spreadsheets, lots of manual processes, lots of people chasing the same number across different systems just to close a single account.
It was a model that worked, but charged a high price. Every piece of information required manual work to be gathered, every analysis went through a bureaucratic step before becoming a decision. The data existed, it just wasn't in one place, in the right format, at the right time.
What was missing was the obvious thing no network solves with spreadsheets: consolidating everything into a single system, with controllership seeing the entire operation without depending on whoever builds the Excel.
It was all very manual, lots of spreadsheets, us chasing information across other systems. A lot of manual work, everything bureaucratic.
The initial need was a single one: to build the P&L (income statement). Controllership wanted to see the company's results clearly, without depending on manual reconciliation between spreadsheets and systems.
With Mitra, the P&L was broken down completely. From the overall view of the result down to the invoice for each entry, it became possible to know exactly where the company is spending and where every amount ended up.
That's where the conversation changed. From the finished P&L, BALI saw a whole new world, and a single need opened the way for fourteen more: a results system, an expenses system, yard control, sales BI, financial BI, after-sales BI and a procurement system.
We started out wanting to build the P&L. When it was ready, we saw a whole new world, and that's when all the other projects came up.
With the processes inside Mitra, the operation's clock changed scale. The salespeople's payroll commissioning, which used to take two to three days, now comes out in thirty minutes. Closing the company's results, which consumed a day and a half, now takes one hour.
It's not a one-off gain in a single routine, it's the whole network running faster. Time that used to disappear into manual work went back into analysis and decision-making.
And the math on that speed becomes clear when you consider the alternative path. Building these fifteen projects with an in-house team would require hiring ten developers and would still take about a year. BALI delivered everything in three months with Mitra.
If we were to build these 15 projects by hiring a team, we'd have to bring in 10 developers and it would still take a year. We did it in three months.
With the P&L broken down all the way to the invoice, BALI started seeing cost in detail. By finding points that were configured incorrectly and fixing them with the data in hand, the network reduced, and keeps reducing, a lot of cost, with a direct financial impact on the result.
More than the numbers, the team's relationship with its own system changed. Today, any request coming from the board, from finance or from sales turns into a delivery in about fifteen minutes, with no development queue, no dependence on third parties.
It's the difference between automating a spreadsheet and building a platform. Mitra wasn't limited to replacing Excel: it became the foundation on which BALI builds controllership and audit systems as complex as the business needs.
Today, with peace of mind, we do whatever we want inside Mitra. Anything the board, finance or sales asks for, we deliver in 15 minutes.
From a single need, the P&L, to fifteen systems, all in 3 months.
What used to take 2 to 3 days of manual work.
What used to consume a day and a half.
Delivered in just 3 months with Mitra.
We'll show you how Mitra breaks down the P&L all the way to the invoice, cuts closings from days to minutes and turns every controllership need into a ready-made system, without hiring a team of developers.
