Mitra is one of the startups selected to participate in Brazil's largest technology event, the Web Summit Rio. The event will take place in Rio de Janeiro from May 1-4, bringing together more than 15,000 people at Riocentro.
According to the organizers of Web Summit Rio, the mission is "to create an environment that elevates conferences and enables meaningful connections between CEOs, founders, investors, politicians, cultural figures, and media members who are reshaping the world".
Indeed, Mitra's participation demonstrates that the market endorses this bold proposal. As proof, in 2022 the startup was also named one of the six best service startups by Amcham Arena.
Selected for the PITCH at Web Summit Rio
Additionally, among the opportunities offered by the event, CEO and Founder Flávio Calixto was one of those approved for the PITCH.
The PITCH is the startup pitching competition at Web Summit Rio. In this competition, the leading early-stage startups from around the world come together to compete on stage. Founders have the opportunity to present and learn from investors and industry leaders.
Therefore, out of more than 900 registered startups, only 42 were selected. Mitra will be officially on the Web Summit Rio 2023 stage. There will be three presentation rounds, with the third being the decisive one.
For example, previous winners of this competition include startups such as Theneo, global fintech Revolut, and Smartex from Portugal.
